L'histoire: C'est un thriller policier, un mélange de "L'arme Fatal" et de "Ghost" (un bon mélange). Aprés avoir été tué pendant le travail, un officier de l'immigration chinoise (Jackie Chan) va bientôt apprendre qu'il est non-seulement belle et bien en vie mais qu'en plus il possede des pouvoirs surnaturels. Pendant qu'il apprend, tant bien que mal, à se servir de ses nombreux pouvoirs, il va devoir faire face a de multiples problèmes (combattre les méchants, par exemple)

Jackie Chan falls for Ireland while shooting new film. He says he loves Ireland but not the weather. Jackie is in Dublin shooting his new film Highbinders. One scene sees him hanging out of a sixth-floor window of the city's Clarion Hotel. "I have never been here before. The weather is a bit variable but there are great people, it is a great city," said Chan. Filming on Highbinders, which co-stars Lee Evans, Claire Forlani and John Rhys-Davies, will move to Asia at the end of the year. A spokeswoman for the film said: "Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong cop who uncovers an international slavery syndicate. "Lee Evans, a bumbling detective, is also hot on the trail of this traffic in human misery." They end up in Dublin on the trail of Snakehead, who is suspected of masterminding the illegal immigrant trade to Europe.
