Premier scénario: Le premier scénario faisait jouer Jackie comme assistant du détective dans le coma de "The Tuxedo" mais cela à changer dans la réécriture de Michael Wilson. Jackie Chan à déclaré dans le Toronto Sun (6/04/01) "I'm a truck driver. I help somebody and he was a spy and he is in a coma in a hospital. I go back to his house to help him, to take him a toothbrush and underwear, and then I find a tuxedo and then the story begins", ce qui confirme ce changement.
Tournage: Le tournage à débuté à Toronto le 10 Septembre 2001. Jackie Chan tourne en même temp la fin du film "Highbinders", donc il jongle tant bien que mal entre les deux tournage.
Bon à Savoir: Dreamworks espère que ce film sera le premier d'une serie de film "The Tuxedo"
